@actofdog you may have to do some digging around on the internet. It might have been for protection due to weather and feeding the babies. That is just a rough guess.
@actofdog those covered wagons didn't have much for protection back then, ya it's really amazing the things they invented back in the day. Like boob coolers. Those little flasks they set between your twins to keep cool back in the Renaissance period.
