As an English major, when I curse at people it takes them a few seconds to realize I'm not flattering them. For example "Your mother yelped loudly when you were born." (In other words "You son of a bitch." )
One woman was impressed when I told a guy "Has anyone explained your virgin birth?" What impressed her was he had no clue I was telling him his mother was such a slut nobody had an idea who his father was.
