I’ll stay in the five star RV. 38ft with all the bells and whistles, please. But really, for the cost of one of those I could stay in a lot of hotel rooms!
There is a time and place for both
The time is now for primitive camping. It's summer in Dixie.
@WonderWartHog99 about 2°C @quarter past midnight here 2 days past winter solstice.
@FrayedBear Here it's still Sunday at 6 p.m and 25c. Worse the power went out once everyone turned on the air conditioner.
@WonderWartHog99 25°C! Bloody cold. Still wearing woolly pullies and overcoats!
@FrayedBear For the gringos: 25c = 77f. During summer in Dixie, mid-day temperatures in the summer it is common to run as high as 40c (109 F).
@WonderWartHog99 40 without humidity is doable. 45 for more than a few days becomes tiresome without A/C. When it gets to 50 in the car I open the window.
