@SenorRotten Rubbing alcohol is only 30 proof.... You can get the concentrate which is 180 proof but Everclear is 95% or 190+ proof....
@SenorRotten I had it last in the 70s' and used to drink it straight.... Won a bunch of money in drinking contests that way....
I keep that in the workshop, but only for dissolving and applying shellac.
@Haemish1 Works good for that too .....
@Lizard_of_Ahaz, @Haemish1, @SenorRotten I keep a 1.75 around for use in tinctures and extracts, it is cheaper than the chemist version and works just as well. I currently have more vanilla extract than i will be able to use before I die.
I actually think this is fairly accurate. Except the rubbing alcohol.
