Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Would it not depend on the character and personality of the ones who uses the power. Parents/guardians have power over the children. They can use it to guide/influence or to dominate/abuse. This can be applied to any situation where one/group has power over others.

It depends what you mean by power. It can be terrifying to discover that I sometimes have ungodly power over other people. As for my ability to control myself, I sometimes have very serious doubts about that.
