Kingfishers are the best

A pair of Goldfinches are enjoying themselves eating up the pests on my sunflowers this morning.

this is an example of how animals become dependant on human assistance & support once we start to interfere in their lives.

We went to a local lake to get free of cabin fever for awhile. It was nice out in the fresh air.

Highlights from my evening walk. The wild bunnies are pretty tame and will stay even if you are within a few feet. A yellow-crowned night heron and whistling ducks (not available to see in many areas).

I had over a dozen Goldfinches in my front yard this morning. A real harbinger of spring.
