I am the beloved choice of mate for an umbrella cockatoo and an african grey parrot. Does anyone else have any psitticine companions, ot have any questions about what living with large birds is all about?

I encountered the largest flock of wood ducks I've even seen, today. Twenty-eight birds hanging around a drainage pond. They are so beautiful!!

A very handsome cock pheasant in Northumberland County, today.

This pair of wild turkey hens had 16 poults between them. I was lucky enough to see them, and actually get some pics, at the Montour Preserve.

Interesting I thought.

The first warbler I've encountered this year, a male yellow-rumped warbler.

Not the best focus but this cardinal was riding out a storm in this verbena outside the kitchen window
