This ring-billed gull was flying too low over the highway and got sucked underneath a truck. A kind commuter saw the bird was still alive and stopped to help it. It was brought into the vet clinic where we took x-rays and gave it a physical exam. ...

A family of Canada Geese joined me while fly fishing the Arkansas River this weekend. I have been watching this gaggle over the last few weeks and the goslings are really getting big! Holding their heads in the tall grass.
