@gigihein Well forgetting about the two wall street parties, who do you have? I know the Green Party is down there. Is there a socialist party? Or is the problem that no other group can afford the cost of having a presidential candidate. If that is the case then revolution is your only hope.
I vote Green in Canada but knowing that there are right wing conservative environmentalists in the Green Party stops me now being a member. I met some of those guys when I was the party secretary.
No party here has any interest in the homeless because they can't vote.

@rogerbenham help build one. I know you and I don't always see eye to eye and butt heads now and then. But we aren't that far apart at all. I think your experience and wisdom could go a long way within the comments in this group in helping them get the proper message out.

@William_Mary Well the problem seems to lie in basic USA thinking.You had Bernie saying mostly the right things. He had enormous grass roots support, support from loads of ordinary people who put their trust in him but as you rightly surmised when it came to the point he retreated into the arms of the supposedly left wing Wall Street party, even worse putting his support behind a definite Wall Street boy. There must be so many people now wondering why they bothered giving him all that money. The only way you will get out of this trap is have an independent candidate saying what he said but not dependent on the Democrats. This requires a movement combining MLK ideals, Bernie Ideals, Me Too, and that other big movement that you had.If I'd given $100 to Bernie I would be totally pissed off with his capitulation.
