The World Socialist Web Site and the fight against war, genocide, fascism and the Big Lie

All over the world, the capitalist ruling class is reviving the vilest forms of political reaction. Eighty years after the end of World War II, the horrors of that historical period—war, fascism and genocide—are once again threatening humanity with a descent into barbarism.

An essential characteristic of all periods of political reaction is the resort by governments and their media accomplices to the method of the Big Lie, which they employ to justify their crimes and disorient the people.

The Big Lie is not the conventional fibbing of one or another politician. It is, rather, a massive falsification of reality, so huge that it defies logical refutation. Its power lies in the monstrous scale of the deceit. The Big Lie does not convince with well-structured arguments. It strives to overwhelm the public with the brazenness of its mendacity.

The 20th century witnessed the emergence of the Big Lie as a central weapon of political reaction and counterrevolution. The tsarist regime in Russia, frightened by the upsurge of the socialist movement, forged the antisemitic Protocols of the Elders of Zion.

In 1917, desperate to discredit the Bolsheviks and stop the rising tide of revolution, the bourgeois Provisional Government concocted the myth that Lenin was the recipient of “German gold.”

After World War I, the German ruling class blamed its military defeat on the “stab in the back” delivered by socialists. Hitler’s Nazi regime, updating the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, proclaimed that it was defending Germany against the Jewish-Bolshevik conspiracy.

I'm by no means asking for anyone to donate to the site or SEP, but I won't deny it would be great if you do. I periodically do myself. I'm primarily posting this for the content that comes after his plea outlined by the title above that everyone should put interest in. You can either watch the video or read the content.

We are, have been, witnessing 2 major big lies within western societies. 1 Has been ongoing since April of 2014, exacerbated in 2022. The other being more known to most and more understood is obviously Gaza and the Palestinian illusion. So let me restate this from above which I touched on in another post recently.

In the post I basically spoke of how crimes and unethical practices were normalized by our representation along with our collaborate MSMs. By the time all the facts come out the issue is basically normalized. No interest is found for accountability. The infighting of representatives an illusion of it's own sense. Which entraps the citizenship within the illusion. Indoctrination. What have you been indoctrinated into! We're all indoctrinated into forming our developed opinions. Propaganda. We're all under a form of propaganda. Propaganda is the information that also helps to form our opinions. These are used to form perceptions leading to developed opinions. Where you get your information from determines if your negatively indoctrinated or properly informed. Properly being informed will teach you to recognize when the political arena and their medias are deceiving you.

For an example. We currently have a society where people are, as David North states, disoriented. We have a growing number of, finally, people speaking out and protesting the Palestinian issue. Many of who once denounced previous protesting in the beginning.

While we can still find high numbers within these ranks who support Ukraine. This is a matter of disorientation. You can't sanely support Palestinians and then support Ukraine who is and has been conducting the same type of crimes under the same ideology for over 11 years now.

It just isn't plausible. It's illusionary disorientation based on deceptive information control in which if it can be maintained long enough it betrays those it's directed towards. Everyone behind it through that extended time frame finds an escape from accountability.

Paying any attention to the Ukraine issue this past 2 weeks? Where Ukraine as sent what is now probably closing in on 3000 drones into Russian territory. I'm not talking about the war zone in the 4 newly Russian republics. Russia homeland. This week, 2 this weekend, 3 train bridges have been sabotaged throughout the republics. Today there are reports that a military base well into the north were attacked by 3 drones taking out some bombers. Apparently released from a tractor trailer close by. These are all terrorist attacks by intelligence agencies.

The Ukraine peace plan is a lie! Everything about the Palestinians has been a lie. Each week we are getting closer to a WWlll scenario based on lies. We're going to find out real quick where Trump actually stands on all fronts. And his knowing support for at least 2 terrorist states in Israel and Syria is a good indication we're being betrayed. And his current dissenting remarks about Russia aren't good either.

Quite frankly, If I'm Putin, I'm seriously think about going silent with a big fuck off to all of the west and making Kiev look worse that Gaza after this week. I'd like to be a fly in the room at these peace talks coming up this week. If Russia will even send anyone now. I assure you that the Russian citizenship and military are calling for heads to roll. And I'd plant a missile right on top of Zelensky's head.
