China is making its presence more in the Pacific off the east coast of Australia.Trying to build large port facilities in several island nations.They are our largest trading market.
@Sheumais Please show evidence of this. I'm only aware of the Chinese occupation of islands in the South China Sea, off the coast of Thailand, looking for rare earth minerals.

@KarlHannah The Australian Government sold the port of Darwin to a Chinese company.This port is a major naval base for Australian and United Statses ships.It was sold before undertaking investigation on security.The Australian people are not happy about it.

@KarlHannah the majority of Australians don't want fossil fuels to be used in Australia or used in other parts of the world.We are stuck with a rightwing Government kowtowing to big corporations.Our Primeminister is a merchant banker with money in the Cayman Islands.But thats changing the people have had a gutful of him.He also tried to avoid a Royal Commission into banks and Financial Services.He had to give in,now we find out they have broken the law on every level.They have been charging fees on dead people,forging signatures,syphoning millions of dollars into private bank accounts.
