I don't think dimensions are hidden ... that's a bunch of hooie, IMHO. Think of one dimension (x-axis) ... then think of two (x-y plane) ... then think of 3D space (x-y-z coordinates) ... the 4th, 5th, 6th through 9th are all the same "size" as the previous ones.

I think the term 'hidden' is/was a hypothesis. This experiment "failed" to confirm that hypothesis. A failed experiment is still useful, i. e. -- the canonical example : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelson%E2%80%93Morley_experiment

FearlessFly replies on Apr 2, 2020:
(from the YT post itself) The rules of plate tectonics are largely intuitive. They state that the Earth’s tectonic plates do not move randomly, but rather evolve in a manner that is consistent with the forces that drive them. The principal forces are slab pull, ridge push, and trench roll-back. Understanding how these forces work provides important insights into how plate boundaries will evolve through time. Simply said, plates move only if they are pulled back into the mantle by a subducting slab or pushed laterally by a mature mid-ocean ridge system. In this animation, the evolving plate boundaries have been drawn to follow this maxim.

It is a depiction of the afterlife in which three deceased characters are punished by being locked into a room together for eternity. It is the source of Sartre's especially famous quotation "L'enfer, c'est les autres" or "Hell is other people", a reference to Sartre's ideas about the look and the perpetual ontological struggle of being caused to see oneself as an object from the view of another consciousness

FearlessFly replies on Mar 26, 2020:
"If I Had a Hammer (The Hammer Song)" is a song written by Pete Seeger and Lee Hays. It was written in 1949 in support of the progressive movement, and was first recorded by The Weavers, a folk music quartet composed of Seeger, Hays, Ronnie Gilbert, and Fred Hellerman. It was a number 10 hit for Peter, Paul and Mary in 1962 and then went to number three a year later when recorded by Trini Lopez.

I invite you to try typing it in (case sensitive) and see if it shows up for you -- different platform, it just might. If it does (or not), then something else is going on.

FearlessFly replies on Mar 24, 2020:
@sterlingdean Of course science CAN DISprove (falsify) things : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michelson%E2%80%93Morley_experiment If you think Newton wasn't wrong, I invite you to write a scientific paper about that and submit it for peer-review to scientific journal(s) -- good luck with that. As for courts and the existence/non of (insert flavor-of-the-month deity ), that generally doesn't work (if you ask Scopes) :P :O : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Inherit_the_Wind_(1960_film)

FearlessFly replies on Mar 24, 2020:
@sterlingdean . . . sigh, I can't believe, on this site, explanation is needed. NO ONE (especially me) is disputing the **existence** of (the phenomenon of) gravity. Perhaps I could have used "Law of Universal Gravitation". Newton invented calculus which, mathematically, (to an extremely close approximation) can describe gravity fairly well (and it is still useful to do so). BUT not-even he described what gravity actually IS. And the idea (Newtons' 'Law' ) "every object in the universe attracts every other object" is fundamentally WRONG. Einsteins's General Relativity (that gravity is a curvature of spacetime) is (so far) settled science. My whole "beef" with the word PROOF, in the context of science, is that it's use is (apart from math) inappropriate since there is always doubt etc. Non-believers (especially) are quite fond of "Evolution is just a Theory" (conflating the colloquial use of the word with the **scientific** meaning of it). Words Matter. For those who care about critical thinking, I think it is better to advocate using the accurate ones.
