I don't see how RT is at-all credible, Putins' 'mouthpiece' has NO (russian) opposition. I use to advocate NewsGuard (journalists judging journalism), but they are subscription-based now. So many posts here have FB "tracking crapola". IMO, that is the epitome of "fake news" and confirmation bias tailored to everything FB has gathered about each 'user'. I'm dubious that individuals' fact research every article. A variety of sources, yes, but what objective criteria used to judge credibility ?

@LucyLoohoo Google is a **private advertising** company, not equivalent to the 'public' realm. . . .but the 'public realm' IS what I was referring to by "not easy to obtain some of the info". Meaning it historically meant needing to go to the courthouse, library, newspaper clippings, etc.

. . . one argument is, it historically was not easy to obtain some of the info. It was NOT digitized -- available now at our 'fingertips'. The idea is that the info is still there, just not so widely (and instantaneously) available (so not **actually** forgotten).

I don't give blame or power for my emotions to others I don't accept responsibility for the emotions of others (I can empathize).

@Joanne "One does not have to use the word supremacy in order to convey the same meaning" I think one does if one subscribes (I do) to "I say what I mean and mean what I say" (I don't think that makes me a mean person). "At the top of our political system " could refer to the top religion, not political supremacy -- what religion doesn't want that.

Will CPR Save Your Life ?
Amzungu comments on Jul 25, 2020:
I'm not sure what your point is with this. You do realize that if one requires CPR, that without it, they are definitely not surviving. So, while the success rate may not be high, it's important to remember that without it in these cases, the survival rate is zero. Also 500 people isn't a very ...
FearlessFly replies on Jul 25, 2020:
. . . it is not MY point. No one is suggesting that CPR should not be done . . . The study is a survey of perceptions : "In earlier studies, patients have pegged CPR survival rates at between 19% and 75%. But the real rate of survival is about 12% for cardiac arrests that occur outside hospitals and between 24% and 40% for those that happen in the hospital, according to the report published online July 13 in the Emergency Medicine Journal." "For the new study, Bandolin's team surveyed 500 emergency department patients and their companions. Fifty-three percent said they had done or witnessed CPR, and 64% had taken a CPR course. Ninety-five percent said their main source of CPR information was television."
