I'm known as the cat lady to my kids' friends and others. I have 5 ages 4-13...cats, not kids! (Kids? 2 sons and a daughter, 24, 22 and 19)

Hi everyone, I guess I'm a true cat person. There has never been a period in my life when there wasn't one cat sharing it... or two, three or five. There are two cats living with me now. Bobby, an orange Manx with silky fur and very calm disposition....

Both of our cats when they come in from outside immediately go the scratching post and scratch at it, as if they are wiping their feet after coming in. It's really cute. I was jut wondering if anyone else's cat(s) "wiped their feet" in a similar ...

Our newest little family member, Helix. His mom is a Highland Lynx and his dad is a Bengal. We can tell already how different he's gonna be. He's a cute little stinker, but wild as hell!

Helix is always cold, so I made him a sweater. ?♥️

My daughter decided last year that I needed a kitten. I've always adopted older cats, as I haven't really had the patience for kittens. So she brought me this little American Bobtail named Groot. He's full grown now, and the best companion ever!

This undoubtedly is how they see themselves and the vacuum and other household “threats” ?

My cats have never entered the carrier willingly, red carpet or not.

I just adopted Mimsy a week ago. She has already made herself right at home.

This is Victor, he came up missing years ago. He was a very lovable cat, I believe he thought he was a dog.

My Sophie sings me the song of her people every night. :-)

Just an update from this morning. The old girl (22 next November) came and had a cuddle after I got back from exercise and shopping.

Dammit, cat! You are supposed to stay inside the fence! I am going to have to buy a taller one.

My cats like to knock objects off the kitchen table and other surfaces. I would swear they need to test the laws of gravity. They have busted many breakable things ... sigh ....
