With all due respect, this scenario is rather simple, and I don’t choose to go any route other than the route of science. The people who are featured in this piece are educators who have access to more scientific information than the average citizenry. Further, they have a governor who they ostensibly mistrust. The binary here is get the shot and survive, or listen to your whacked out governor and die in place.

If choose to self emolliate, that is my personal choice. However, if I choose to self emolliate and then walk in to my crowded work place or a school, that is way outside the realms of personal choice, that is at best assault at worst murder.
IF a person choses to not be vaccinated during a plague, and stay home and die, I have no problem with that. But if they chose to not be vaccinated during a plague and go out infecting all and sundry, they are not exercising freedom of choice, they are indulging in criminal behaviour.
