There are so many cherries that you would probably have to go to an acknowledged expert to get an answer. And they so easily cross breed that if it is a seedling it probably won't have a cultivar name.
In May 2017, upon visiting British Columbia, cherry trees everywhere were in bloom, a month or more late that year. Blossom petals 'snowed' eventually. Photo: Nitobe Memorial Garden, UBC Vancouver.
Beautiful flowers!
My vote is for the Cherry Kwanzan tree, Botanical Name Prunus serrulata ‘Kwanzan’. This tree grows to about 30 feet tall with a spread of 20 to 25 feet.
Appears like my photo
Cherry tree.
Thanks... and there are about 430 species of cherry trees
I think it's Cherries blossoms!
Large petals.
Thanks... I grew up around apricot, peach, and almond trees, and they had flowers kind of like those, and the fragrance was intoxicating
