Gorgeous pics!
Thanks! I really enjoy taking them - and sharing them....
@Lavergne Iβve got quite a few pics of my garden I should share. Gardening is my therapy.
Every hole I dig in the ground to plant something represents one person I did not kill......hahahahaha I very much consider gardening therapy. You can talk to everything in the yard - nothing talks back - and nothing argues with you, right?
@Lavergne oh I love your attitude about digging holes! And yes, you can say a lot to plants and they donβt argue with you!
Lovely, I'm so jealous of Astilbe. I'm often glad capital punishment does not exist for flower killers.
When we bought this place 10 years ago I spotted the tiniest little piece of Astilbe peeking out from under a Yew. I transplanted it to see if it would do well - it did - and I've been adding to the collection since then. I really like them - even when they're not blooming - the foliage is so interesting.
Great colour, you must be a few months in front of me.
I'm up in the plateau --the east TN mountains. The weather here this spring has been absolutely bizarre. But the very wet winter/early spring definitely made for a lovely and profuse flowering this year. I'll take it!
