I planted 3 or 4 new daylilies this past Spring, all selected for having an "eye" and for being a rebloomer. So far this is the only one reblooming but oh boy, doing a good job of it, with 7 buds. Currently nos 3 and 4 are open, and gorgeous.

Need a little help. I think it is a weed, if it isn't I did not plant it & have no idea what it is. Any clues? It just shot up the flower shoot. I didn't cut it down all summer because I liked the leaves.

Perhaps sometimes you can do great things with just one plant. I visited this garden where they had a border of just Verbena bonarensis and it looked great, and just imagine the bees and butterflies it attracts when the day is warm.
