Wow guys we are at 199 members. I never thought we would grow this fast in just a few short months. And with almost no drama in the group. I think we ahave a great group here.

Dropped off a case of beer to the tree guys today. And they dumped off another load of wood chips. So we decided to get the deep wood chip bedding done in the chicken and duck pen. But kept getting rained out. So this is all we got done all day. But...

Got a load of wood chips from the local tree trimmer. And managed to get most of it spread out before the storms hit.

We picked up a dragon fruit from Walmart think it was just the normal white ones we always get. But got a pleasant surprise when I cut it open. Just what I will be trying to germinate.

Update on the dragon fruit seedlings in both parts are doing good

Planted some sweetpotatoe slips outside the chickens pen around the compost pile. What grows into the pen the chickens and ducks can eat. We’ll eat the potatoes if they grow.

My cuttings from the plum tree are sprouting even the huge branch that I didn’t think had a snowflake chance in hell of making it. The peach and Persimon cuttings are looking to good.

I have been cutting down a lot of invasive Congon grass and adding it to my chicken/duck powered compost pile. But I need to add more nitrogen to kick start and heat it up some. So I’m adding my own urin by peeing in a jug and dumping it on the ...
