Dropped off a case of beer to the tree guys today. And they dumped off another load of wood chips. So we decided to get the deep wood chip bedding done in the chicken and duck pen. But kept getting rained out. So this is all we got done all day. But...

My aha moment. If you can compost deep bedding a chicken pen why can’t you do the same for the dog pen. The dogs only go out for 5 minuets at a time just to use the bathroom. I can go out once a week and turn it then toss a little more chips on ...

We picked up a dragon fruit from Walmart think it was just the normal white ones we always get. But got a pleasant surprise when I cut it open. Just what I will be trying to germinate.

Planted some sweetpotatoe slips outside the chickens pen around the compost pile. What grows into the pen the chickens and ducks can eat. We’ll eat the potatoes if they grow.

My cuttings from the plum tree are sprouting even the huge branch that I didn’t think had a snowflake chance in hell of making it. The peach and Persimon cuttings are looking to good.
