Thanksgiving day blooms in my garden. Brave giant zinnia soldiering on. I will be collecting seed from this stalwart trooper. Most of the zinnia are long gone, other than this one and some orange/gold zahara zinnia.

Must be doing something right in my soil. Just finished turning over a garden patch to get it ready for winter vegies and I reckon there were almost more worms than soil. ALL my vegetable peelings and scraps get tipped into the gardens, EXCEPT onion ...

Not a view generally available to visitors but a roof top photo of the garden can help to communicate things about your garden's layout that photos taken within it miss. I got some photos that way a couple days ago. There are so many trees in the ...

The rose is about 1/2 way through bloom quite a few buds still to open. The yucca flower spears can be seen behind it and one shot showing the yuccas. I just counted 10 flower spears on the yucca. Cool 😎... More pics coming soon. :)

One day lily peeking through the asparagus snuggled up against that pear tree, the other over by the river fence. One of my favorite flowers since childhood.

The village garden club has managed the area around the village pump now on and off for several years. Don't think they will do this spring, but the primroses they planted are now looking great and marking the spring well.
