Nearly finished my outdoor raised garden. I finally filled all of my 2'x8' boxes with compost. The box farthest to the right had 5 tomatoe plants, 6 tomato cages. There's pumpkin and corn on the corner nearest the camera. The other boxes have ...

My first couple of petunia and sweet Williams have decided to show their faces.... coming on! The ger plants are Holyyhocks .

Don't remember what this plant is, but I love the purple! Played hookey from my job search and cleaned up the back gardens. It was glorious! Sunshine!

My hanging baskets are coming on ... not quite there yet , but they are doing OK.

Hosta transplanting put on hold at this spot until fall. Milkweed from our butterfly garden migrated over to the fence garden bed. We're on a Monarch migratory route so we try to leave milkweed alone when we find it.

This is the perfect photo to show why I hang a garden shade light diffuser tarp. My raised bed gardens are oriented east to west. So as sun tracks across the sky, they are protected from the harshest light of the mid day but still get morning sun ...

These are the half size planters with scented stocks and lobelia. The old lady is too frail to do much , I like gardening and her little space gives her pleasure.

Geranium Sanguineum. Grows in a soft round shape. Lovely long blooming flowers. It will take over small beds, has to be monitored. I dug one up and the root ball was 3x the size of the plant!

Morning stroll around the backyard. Cone flowers blooming! And, it's supposed to be a hot/sunny afternoon. I might set up a "real" digital camera and see if I can catch some good creatures.

I set up our chat room. Times are Saturday 8pm to 10pm and Sunday 9am to 11am. Let me know if these are good times. And if anyone is even interested in chats.

My cuttings from the plum tree are sprouting even the huge branch that I didn’t think had a snowflake chance in hell of making it. The peach and Persimon cuttings are looking to good.
