I leave my pickup unlocked. Almost nobody , aside from my son, under 60 could drive the thing. It has a 5x3 twin stick ( two transmissions, 15 forward and 3 reverse gears 🙂 I've pulled up to tire shops where they insist on driving it in. I'll let them sit there looking confused for a few minutes before stepping in to save them from themselves.

I have one and leave it unlocked and windows down every where. No worries.

I taught my son how to drive on a stick, he has his own now and he's a millennial...

The Turner gear box on the Bedford is even better than that. Three from 2 is up, across & down from memory - great fun if coming down, you don't know & the synchro is worn!

Nice parking job - tire's right on the damn line!

That was my thought what is the point to being able to operate a manual car if you can not drive the damn thing. (to me if you can not park it you can not drive it)

Operating a clutch is a forgotten art except in England.

as an alternative . . "three on the tree" works pretty well too

I learned to drive on one.
