Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.Two days ago, I turned to the temporary spouse and said "Gas prices are $1.84 a gallon. I got ten empty five gallon gas cans. Let's fill 'em up, put 'em in the bed of the truck and visit Canada."
The Canadian prime minister promptly threw a monkey wrench at those plans. Guess I'll have to settle for Denver.

Most people buy their airline tickets weeks, often months in advance. There's no way you could have seen this coming. Good luck getting your refund. You pay your money, you take your chances.
We weren't planing to stay in Canada. Therefore with the extra gas cans, once we crossed into Canada, we'd have enough gasoline not to need to buy Canadian gasoline unless we got a yen to visit Hudson Bay.
You certainly wouldn't be accused of being full of shit would you
