Yes it is, but so are just pictures.
Not everything is photoshoped.
Is it so inconceivable that an animal (in this case a cat) be of similar colouring and pattern as their surroundings (in this case wood flooring)?

@altschmerz I have one that it took me almost half an hour to find the grey tabby in a pile of rocks I was beginning to doubt they was even a cat in the picture.
