Here in Australia we have a small patch of a plant from the Jurassic times still growing, it is called the Woollemi pine.
It does not grow everywhere, is so rare that the exact region where it grows is high protected in a National Park.

For anyone who may be interested the pictures below are of the Wollemi pines found growing in Australia and were discovered in 1994.
It has been determined, scientifically,that these 'Dinosaur Trees' were growing in Australia during the Jurassic Era and herbivorous Dinosaurs most probably eat them.

Glad to see that it is a controlled planting , until they find out what they've got . I'd hate to see something like a poison ivy brought back , once it has already been erased .
