POLLI came across someone that lost a child in another group. Losing a child can, in some cases be just as, if not, more painful than losing a spouse or other loved one. Should we add people that have lost a child to our group?

I lost a good friend last evening. His wife has embarked on her journey of grief now. I wish I had some words but having been through that myself just a short 4 years ago I know there are no words now. RIP Mr. Douse.

I don’t post here very often, although do respond and try to support others when they do so. All of us, in this group, have been bereaved at some time, by losing either a spouse, partner or close relative or friend. The grief we suffer is unique...

Not a good day today. Grief just seems to come out of nowhere sometimes and knock me right on my ass. This was taken the day he came home from the hospital for the last time. Our dogs were so happy to see him.

Today my daughter comes to me crying because she misses Dad. All I can do is cry with her and we talk some. After she feels better, she runs off to play. And I break down.
