Enjoyed a week of dog walks along the San Dieguito Lagoon section of the Coast to Crest Trail in Del Mar. Handsome pair of ospreys in a huge nest - really need a better camera lol!

My wife and I got up before five this morning to get some BIF pictures. The Osprey and Herons are nesting and some have chicks. The second is a furry bird. The Heron is the first I ever saw at Big Lake at 9,000 feet.

Highlights from my evening walk. The wild bunnies are pretty tame and will stay even if you are within a few feet. A yellow-crowned night heron and whistling ducks (not available to see in many areas).
