I used to work with a guy who brought various baked goods to work for his lunch and breaks. Some of the other people used to eat his food when he was out on the workroom floor. One day he brought a beautiful chocolate cake and several people got diarrhea.

There used to be a slightly alcoholic natural rum flavoured food flavouring. The wowsers had it removed from the market. I've had to go back to using rum to flavour my chocolate rum truffles.
@FrayedBear A retrograde step I am in favour of.
@1950debris Why? The crap they now sell tastes nothing like rum. Rum in truffles to get a hit is counterproductive - just use a hyperdermic syringe and inject a small quantity directly into the blood stream. . . You'll probably enjoy it just before it kills you .
