Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.In my family, doves are good eats. Every fall my late father would go out to a corn feild and blast the little bastards out of the sky with a shotgut. He brought his friends.
From this I figured with his practice at the skeet and trap range, the price of his guns, the fees to the farmer to rent the field and his hunting license, we could have saved time and money by filling up the ice box with fresh lobster. One doesn't get that much meat off of a dove.
