Pandemics are kawaii!! [knowyourmeme.com]
Actually, any well stocked chinese farmers market. Sometimes still alive to be butchered at home. Even a well stocked city grocery will have them-but only dead ones.
@EricJones I should have qualified it by saying ". . . in rural America."
Best I can figure the entire town of Seneca, SC (population ~12,000) has five people from the Far East. Not sure if they're of Chinese origin. Maybe it's just me but when I visited China Town in NYC, San Diego and San Francisco, they were all out of bats.
Here we treasure our bats (unless they get in the house). Our bat houses are ignored by the bats. We'll treasure anything that'll eat the mosquitoes. A few eons of the locals building mosquito eating purple martin houses has meant the purple martins don't know how to build a nest.

I have a different kind of post in mind!
