One dark and stormy night there was a terrible shipwreck, The following morning the only survivors; a man, a Rottweiler and a pig found themselves washed ashore on a deserted island. Determined to make the best of things the man built a shelter and settled in with his two companions and waited for rescue. Many weeks went by with no sign of rescue and loneliness and solitude took their toll on the man. One evening while sitting round the fire the man noticed what a sweet little thing the pig was and was drawn to her but as he moved towards the newfound object of his desire a low growl from the Rottweiler accompanied by the raising of hackles and the bearing of teeth gave him cause to reconsider and he drew back. More weeks passed and once again overcome with loneliness and desire the man's attention was drawn to the little pig but yet again he was thwarted by snarls and sharp fangs. Sad to relate this situation continued for many years until one night another ship was battered off course and foundered on the reef.
The man woke the following morning to discover the beach strewn with wreckage and there gently rolling in the receding tide lay a body. He rushed into the surf and dragged the body of a young woman onto the sand and having some knowledge of first aid administered CPR. After some minutes his efforts were rewarded and the young woman , now cradled, in his arms looked up at him. "Thank you," she said " my strength had failed me and I knew my end was upon me, but you saved me. how can I ever thank you? ask me for anything". Anything? he asked as his eyes traced the soft curves barely concealed by the torn clothing. "Anything" she said. Tears welled in the man's eyes and he spoke "Can you take that fucking dog for a walk".
