KKGator comments on Feb 22, 2018:
I'm sure it's possible for some, but not all. I think anyone entering into such a relationship would really have to be very self-aware. They'd need to know, going in, if they can handle it, or not. I've been gone for a while from the site, has there been any drama I've missed?
KKGator comments on Feb 20, 2018:
Not sure I'd call it "drama", but there have been a few heated discussions about gun control and abortion. Those were fun.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Huh. Got a link to the abortion one?
Don't judge me!
OpposingOpposum comments on Feb 20, 2018:
Isn't that dangerous if you have chest hair?
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
@EricTrommater well, let me tell you. I've got plenty and peanut butter is a real pain to get out! ;)

Does your ideal partner exist?
Donotbelieve comments on Feb 20, 2018:
My ideal partner exists. He's at work, right now. I made him beef stroganoff for dinner, this evening.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Aww
Kind of putting myself out here with this one.
AlasBabylon comments on Feb 20, 2018:
It is terrible what your siblings and others in your family went through. It sounds like you lived elsewhere than with your dad and your brother and sisters; is this the case? Anyway, I'm very sorry that so many in your family have suffered like that. Thanks for sharing with us.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
@MST3K thank you. I wish their Mom hadn't been so damaged.

Yes as I said they were half siblings and much older. My mother was an entirely different kind of person and did what she had to to keep me safe. She was a great Mom.

Could anything you post on a site like this be construed as sexual harassment?
Marcie1974 comments on Feb 20, 2018:
Sure, if you mention someone's name and say you want to fuck them or something similarly crude then yes. Or if you make a blanket statement that all women are good for is their holes, then yes, that's sexual harassment. It's not rocket science.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Doesn't even have to be that blatant.
Can you fall in love with someone who you've never met in person?
Akfishlady comments on Feb 20, 2018:
Not possible. A person is in love with the idea of being in love. You never know what you will find in person. Perhaps they smell or have a nervous tick that would be so annoying. Perhaps they start to share space and you find that they are absolute pigs or that they would rather sleep with their ...

Can you fall in love with someone who you've never met in person?
Rudy1962 comments on Feb 20, 2018:
Nope. I thought I had fallen in love with a beautiful Scandinavian woman with blue eyes. It turns out it was Brutus, who owns a small engine repair business that he runs out of his parent's home, has three inches of hair on his back and loves to cat fish.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Aww poor Brutus is probably sad and lonely without you. ;)
To Shave or Not to Shave
MissingLink16 comments on Feb 19, 2018:
I used to be grossed out to see a woman who had hairy underarms. After 4 years in Spain, I got over it. I prefer that the ladies shave their legs though. Pubes? You ought to have a little bit of hair there. Doesn't have to look like a forest, but I don't really like the completely bald look ...
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
@ScienceBiker loool. Don't even joke about that. My favorite thing about being single is the lack of fights. ;) Not backing off trying to be diplomatic. You may not assume but a lot of men do. It's one of those sore spots.
Are you getting any?
d_day comments on Feb 19, 2018:
Well, I was getting enough, until Saturday, when I got dumped.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Sorry to hear that.
So the loneliness has finely sunk in.
Troy comments on Feb 20, 2018:
You will get past this. You are young, and this period of being alone may seem interminable, but you will come to see it as a very short part of your life.
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Or not and that's OK too. Being single is not the worst fate.

Rugglesby comments on Feb 20, 2018:
yeah, I think you have nailed a lot of what those of us seeking relationships need. That said I have a little spoon, I roll over every 20 minutes and our cat (Kat) patiently gets up, walks over me and snuggles up again she is always little spoon. She is not silly, if she is at my back I could roll...

I was doing some reading about men being afraid to flirt and approach women.
PhitDoctor50 comments on Feb 20, 2018:
I think that is a far cry from the fear that most women have when being approached, or when they turn down a date, or a flirtation, or get catcalled, etc. Men are seriously weak and whiny when it comes to any infringement on their ability to say or do whatever the fuck they want whenever and ...

DobbinPitch comments on Feb 19, 2018:
Kids: an untapped food source. What? Why are you all looking at me that way? (Shit! Did I say that out loud about being a food source? Dang it!) Okay, now that's done. I don't have kids. I have avoided having them all my life. I have too many issues that I'm still working through, not ...
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
I'm sorry you feel that way about yourself. Have you thought of volunteering teaching kids something? It might be a good outlet for that parenting urge .
To Shave or Not to Shave
Lucy_Fehr comments on Feb 20, 2018:
I have almost no body hair yet the hair on my head is super thick even in my 50's. I selected pits because that is the only thing I shave with any regularity. I shave because the hair increases body odor so I do it for myself. I have never shaved my legs above the knee and might shave my legs ...
OpposingOpposum replies on Feb 20, 2018:
Lucky with the light body hair! I'm half bear and have to shave with a weed whacker.
