Why is it that when something like a pandemic hits.

Look none of this is about religion and never has been, it’s about culture, and the problem culture is based on resentments that go back to before the civil war. It’s about resenting the authority of expertise preferring authority for the sake of authority typically from an incompetent family of authoritarians that never contributed thing one to civilization.
Look at Trump, that’s why all the evangelicals are gay for him, they worship authority.

It’s literature from a people that were at war with Rome who destroyed their only mega church where the sick fucks sacrificed animals to feel clean of gods disapproval, so this literature provided an alternative to the temple and sacrifices.
When studied none of the assumed cause and effects listed make any sense at all.
So not my fan fiction.

Smoking, drinking, being a member of a contrarian anti intellectual religion that thinks mask cause Covid, even simple stupidity can all be added to the list. This can be extrapolated to national political parties. There’s always one that scares primitives because it expects progress, and one that’s dishonest and regressive.
