These were the cutest critters I’d ever seen. Two short-eared owl babies and their mommy lounging on my gazebo. Not the best pics I’m afraid as I didn’t want to get too close and had to really zoom in.

Mama red squirrel getting a little extra calcium from an old fragment of deer bone. I knew they would eat bones and antlers but this is the first time I have witnessed it.

Pretty moths from last night: rosy maple moth, lemon plais, furcula, and one of the prominents, but I'm not sure which species. Gotta dig out the Covell's for an ID on that one.

Clownfish photo bombs! And then the biggest emerald crab ever! Though he just lurks... used to have various shrimp. They used to hide where he lives. Pretty sure that’s where they disappeared to!

This is a very pretty little moth called The Hebrew (Polygrammate hebraeicum). I like the markings on this one because it looks like a smiley face.
