Last push of the season, snipped after 2 frosty mornings. The bloom looks a bit ragged, but the deep lemony fragrance of my little Intrigue rose is well worth enjoying as long as possible!

Jan 19, 2020 roses & Iris seem to think it is spring.... as well as every single thing else around here. Btw over night temps are going to be in the 20s & highs are only going to be in the 30s for most of the week (fahrenheit) 😢

This is what I'm talkin' about! Mid February, and the plants were all budding out like April, yet now we have a couple weeks of morning frost. Loving the gorgeous sunshine that will let me mow the lawn before the next rain storm!

Last Fall I took a chance and ordered some freesia bulbs in an unusual color ... blue. Now they are in full bloom and simply spectacular ... have you grown blues before? wonderful hybrids they come up with!
