I still have a car 8 track somewhere. Probably worth a fortune at the antique car swap meet.
@FrayedBear My friend’s brother had an 8 track player in his car, we thought that was pretty impressive. They weren’t that common. I don’t recall him having any cassettes to play though!
Just had a quick look on TradeMe and couldn’t find one. So yes, your car 8 track is probably quite valuable.
@Zealandia I should also have 6-8 cassettes somewhere. Not that many 8 track antique car owners would be interested in heavy classics & folk music
@Zealandia I was always surprised that I didn't encounter much NZ folkmusic.
@Zealandia Mind you if Australians can't appreciate their own why would they NZ's?
