@FrayedBear I live on the west coast, all my familly is on the east coast. Many years ago I lived with my boyfreind, he was black. My mom was not pleased (she was such a bigot) and did not want any of the family to know. Well of course they pick up on the weirdness. Of course my sister knew and she was very close to Aunt Liz and had told Aunt Liz. Aunt Cassie (Liz's sister and who was not told) once said said to Aunt Liz, "Well, is he Puerto Rican?" It was all Aunt Liz could do to keep a straight face.
I still can't figure how I ended up NOT seeing color with such bigots on both mom and dad's side. lol
