Liverpool airport changed its name a few years back to John Lennon airport (so named because it was the 1st place he headed for when he got some money). Anyway just outside of it there ran a billboard for Avis saying "Baby you can drive my car"

@FrayedBear oh!! poor bear. My dad really enjoyed their music as well as most of the rock that came out in the 60's. I was lucky.
He also listened to opera, never developed an appreciation for that genre.
@silverotter11 Impossible to escape them in my city. The tourist tour bus goes past my window several times a day. The worst is they cast such a large shadow that new music can struggle to get some light. There have been some great bands that have come out of here since but never got the recognition that for example Manchester bands have. eg. Here`s the original version of an Amy Winehouse hit.
