When recently I needed to don my garden hat I was quite out of luck: 7 microbats had snuggled in for the day, which became a 5-day visit, at which point they probably had caught up with their mob.

I am currently amoured with Jackdaws I have a group of about 20 I feed in the garden I have not yet got to the bottom of their relationships but then why would I . Please read Konrad Lorenz a great ethnologist "king Solomans seal".

It's been a terrific spring for rare bird sightings in the SE US. I got a shot of a make Rose Breasted Grosbeak through my kitchen window. When I zoomed in to crop it, there was a SECOND Grosbeak that I had not even seen! Two-for-one!
