Yeah, they certainly did.
Through the ages kids have been stony faced and embarrassed at poor jokes from their dad, thinking what an igneous he is.
Unfortunately you can’t have a clean slate and get a new dad.
Just remember to keep your coal when dad tells the jokes.

@Lilac-JadeCanada Yep, you just have to boulder on, try not to erupt with annoyance at the ex scoriating jokes. You could ask him to pumice not to to tell them within earshot, probably wouldn’t work though.

@Lilac-JadeCanada My favourite volcano by the way. Rangitoto Island. It’s less than 8 km away. Dormant, apparently there’s a 0.1% chance of an eruption in any one year. Used to have a Primary school visit every year.
