@FrayedBear An annual series of two or three matches between the Wallabies and All Blacks that’s been played on and off for about ninety years.

Has been held at a variety of venues on both sides of the ditch. Last year, it was played at the MCG, Melbourne Cricket Grounds.

Named after New Zealand's governor-general, Lord Bledisloe who was a rugby fan. He was a pommy who somehow ended up with the top job.

My headmaster Jack Kelly at secondary school was an ex All Black. One of his jerseys was framed and had pride of place in the corridors. I wonder if it’s still there.

Looking back, he acted like a bit of a coward one time my path inadvertently crossed his.

@Zealandia Not much into sport, but I did used to enjoy casual bowling, & swimming, plus I don't drive so always walked where I needed to go.
