Believe it or not, when done verbally with a not-to-defensive adult, it works almost every time. With children though, it rarely works because they are concentrating so much on getting the spelling right that the subconscious part does not sink in.
Try it out on a few of your adult family or friends.
@RavenCT try florida. We have people literally stopping on busy 4 lane roads because they have no idea where they are and apparently leave their ability to drive at home when they go on vacation.
@Blindbird Same happens here in AZ, snowbirds & the retired!
