Currently using the same pan my grandmother had ( I am 70). Have no idea where a this "seasoning " myth came from...she didn't.
When we burned coal about every 2 years I put the skillet directly into the coals for a few hours (around 1800+ degrees F), and it came out looking brand new, even returned to a brownish color. Then I rubbed in a teaspoon or so of veg oil and wiped off any excess, but quit burning coal about 20 years ago, so just washing & drying from then.

As a senior citizen, tattoos on women need to be selectively placed. I have not adapted to them so much. My mind keeps wondering to how will they feel about their tattoos as they get older, because they are not so easily removed! Aging changes people in mind and body.

@icolan There could be guidelines as to which charity for instance the % that's used for actual charity, and I think the element of choice is important,.
Other than donating to a charity, i do not know of any mechanism to donate to HUD, or any other government orgs........

I believe that there are more than 185,000 registered charities in the UK and the number is growing every year. A brief visit to the headquarters of any charity, in particular, the staff car parking area, will give you an insight into where some of the money that you donate is spent.
