I escaped by crawling into the Ladies Room. Took a taxi to the motel after grabbing the baby from the babysitter...who told him the name of the cab company, so he could ask where I was.. He assaulted the night clerk to make him tell the room number then broke in the door. As i ran through the motel in my nightgown, baby under my arm, police arrived. Again, "you need to try to get along", no charges for assaulting the clerk, he only had to pay for the door...no arrest or charges, I guess the door was more valuable than me or the baby.......you were I presume one of those at that dance who tacitly approved? And at 72 i remember it all, but also realize that I learned to be strong & self-reliant in a way few ever become.

@HumanistJohn nope, just lounged on the gorgeous beach, hiked,went to their excellent Nature Center...I was on my way to visit my brother & wife in Norfolk, then onto the Palace of Gold in W.Va (highly recommended, BTW!)

Connecticut sent a request form to Everybody about a month ago! There were the usual reasons with checkboxes, and the top one was "health worries due to Covid-19". Looove my state!

I'm on a dating site and am immediately turned off by men that pressure me for my phone number, immediately. I also don't care for innuendo before any conversation or meeting. If sex is all you want, hire a hooker.

You are correctt in your assumption that phone number pressure is because they want phone sex (damned creepy with a stranger, IMO!) I give out Nothing, nor agree to meet on WhatsApp or wherever, until an actual meeting! Weeds out a lot of dreck!
