Regarding number 3, you could include a pledge there, but there certainly is no guarantee everyone will adhere to such a pledge. The door swings both ways, a member should be able to block whoever they please...and if they block a group host that host reserves the right to ban said member from group if he don't like it. I thought Admin changed that where a group host is able to see all posts in his/her group regardless of who had blocked who, and it's not hard to figure out who has you blocked. Being at least one of the groups I host has been a favored target of trolling, I've had to ban quite a few from said group, and the trolling on this site has gotten to a point where I no longer care if someone complains that I banned them. After awhile some of us get tired of debating and the groups were supposed to be the answer to address the political arguing that occurs all too frequently, so if a particular group does not align with your interests or views it's best to just move on. Likewise, there are plenty of the left-leaning folks who decided to block me, and I don't care one bit. Bottom line, if someone joins a group you host and that person has you blocked, either ban them or put up with them being in the group. So much ado over the blocking option...

Non-violent charges should not bar one from being able to possess firearms, and other rights should stay intact as well. No citizen should ever lose the right to vote. How many years have passed since conviction is another factor to consider, if decades have passed and the person paid his debt to society and there is no indication of ill intent, then rights should be restored. Perhaps those who society deems "unfit" should remain in custody, whether that be in prison or a mental institution. By the way, this question had already been asked a few months back.

As someone who went through a similar scenario in the past, I know how it feels to have the finger pointed at you (and he may be innocent of what he was accused of) and don't blame Kavanaugh for his reactions, some of the questions the Democrats asked him were most curious. It almost appears as if he was setup. In truth, the liberal progressives just don't want another conservative judge on the SC. Regarding the impartial part, the same could be said of some of the other SC judges too, and the Democrats didn't so much as blink an eye when justice Sotomayor made a comment stating (to a lesser extent here) that latinas could make better choices than white men, which was an obviously hateful remark. The Democrats lost the last time precisely because of the dirt tactics they use, and I will be hoping Kavanaugh gets the nod.

If it wasn't for the groups I would have bailed on this site by now, the double standards and pure disdain from some folks on this site is anything short of appalling, I came here hoping to meet like minds but instead witness constant bickering and insults being hurled around. The points system has become a joke, presently there is no authentication for new accounts so one individual could create and maintain more than one account and use dummy accounts to spy on or harass other members who had them blocked on their main account, and I can't even keep up with how many hateful spam messages I've received from such dummy accounts. It's not new members either with dummy accounts, quite a few longtime members have them, and one guy who shall remain nameless had the gall to tell me via private message that his second account will be used to troll. There are good aspects of this site, then again there are some negative as well, there really should be some sort of authentication for accounts to separate the sock puppet ones from the legit. Dummy accounts could also be used to cheat on the points system. Hope that answered your question.
