These laws that are often referred to as "common sense legislation" are positively absurd and do nothing to deter the criminal element, who don't even acknowledge said laws to begin with. The answer is simple, the Christians have long over taken the Republican Party (and are slowly working their way into the Democratic Party too) as the Democrats have embraced what they would consider to be radical social behaviors (such as gay marriage abortion etc). So most Christian denominations aligned themselves with the Republicans. I personally don't understand their motives either, as modern day American conservatives believe in concepts such as capitalism/small government/individual liberties/and generally living a lifestyle of abundance, pretty much the direct opposite of what the holy babble instructed its followers to do. That proves some serious Christian hypocrisy there in my opinion. Not all Americans however that align with the political right are Christian, I'm an atheist and a conservative.

I never had internet at home, and my Android serves as my only phone line and internet, and my monthly service is cheap compared to what some pay. How many guys you know personally (I'm in my mid thirties now) under age forty who never owned a laptop or had internet service in their home? I'm one, looks like I saved some serious money by doing so, and I got/get by just fine. That money I saved over the years from skipping out on internet and cable fees is going to help pay for the new home I have in mind to build, that to me is worth it. Nothing will happen, the Democrats are going to deadlock everything as they made it clear already if they took over the House the main thing they are after is revenge on Trump? Which makes me question, how exactly is revenge going to help the citizens? On the flip side, if the Democrats were going to get control of anything, I'd rather they got the House than the Senate. I think the election was even, no one really creamed the other, and Republicans added a few seats in the Senate actually. There could be a positive in all this, if the Democrats do as I think they're going to, they may piss off alot of Americans with their antics just in time to swing the 2020 election in favor of Trump. Time will tell, although when it comes to emotions running high those on the political left are not exactly known for having self restraint.

I've been using air powered weapons since I was about six years old, and still use them as target practice with them is far cheaper than traditional firearm target shooting (I could get everything I need for a day of target shooting for ten bucks, good for those on a budget). A few questions- are you only looking for co2 powered pistols? Also, are you looking to purchase a pellet or bb pistol, or a dual ammunition one? I currently own four different model air pistols (the rest I had either got worn out or were sold) that I could give a good description of. Some models are mostly plastic while others are more realistic with blowback action. Magazine style is another thing to take into consideration, rotary mags or drop style. Nothing hopefully. I contend most human beings have a safe space whether it be a social media site, a favorite room in one's dwelling, or some sort of local club. When it comes to free speech, I've said this a thousand times before and I'll say it again- no one I repeat no one on the face of this planet has the power to offend you with "hate speech" unless you give them permission to do so. Ignoring haters sends a powerful message whether you believe that or not, as ignoring malcontents such as that assures they will not receive an audience, at least from one person anyway. As for me, I will defend to the death the right for someone to state their opinions/views regardless of if I personally agree with them or not. I long abandoned religion as most major world religions seek to suppress free speech and thought, a tell tale sign of a control freak. Afterall, you're a member of a "safe space" that I host on this site, so come join the club I say. I firmly believe you have every right to the money that was deducted from your paychecks all these years. I have come across posts similar to this one quite a few times in the past, and I don't think the correct question was asked. What we should be asking is do we really need the Federal Government to manage our finances, does Government really need more power over our lives? Personally, I don't think the Government has any right to deduct money from any of my paychecks in order to fund what amounts to a social program, as our Government was not originally designed to be one big social program. I am thoroughly capable of saving my own money and establishing a safety net for myself. There are/have been many citizens over the years who have paid into Social Security only to pass away unfortunately before they reach retirement age. They never got the chance to benefit from their forced contribution, and I've personally known some that happened to. Now, I must question in the cases for those who have been on disability collecting for years and at a relatively young age, if they continue doing so for many more years to come as they are not able to work, is all the money they get actually the exact amount they had paid into or would they be digging into the coffers in order to still receive payments? For example, my one neighbor had been on disability since he was 29 years old and he's in his early 50's now, so I figure he had about 11 or so good years to pay into SS. He could very well live another 20 or 30 years all the while being on assistance for the rest of his life, so... is all the assistance he gets actually what he paid into or would it take funds that came from someone else's paycheck to cover him? That is just one example of what goes on. In the end, we must ask ourselves is it truly moral to force a free citizen to be forced to pay into a program that of which they may not want to partake in, especially when this is something I think each individual could do on his/her own, saving that is? I could not imagine having to be on disability for an extended amount of time (in this case for more years than I paid into the system) knowing others could eventually foot the bill for me, I think I'd rather die first than go that route. I know deep down inside if anything were to affect my health or if I got critically injured, if I do not have enough of my own money saved up to pay for medical costs, I will die, plain and simple as that and I am totally at peace knowing that. The example cited above is one of many reasons why I disagree with the political left when it comes to economic and financial issues, I have an individualist take on life whereas the modern day Democrats have taken a collectivist outlook on life. Again, the real question we should ...
