I want mine back ASAP)! I take mine to a guitar tech just to get restrung (floyd rose and kahler are a pain to tune). This doesn't have anything to do with guitars, but leaving something someplace for a long time. I had a race engine built 5+ years ago. The guy that had the machine shop had a dyno. I paid the $300 in advance. Kept on putting it off. Then he was saying that the insurance company found out about the dyno, and he wasn't supposed to use it for liability reasons. He said he'd dyno it. Ihad his personal # (we used to work together, and we were friends). He changed his cell #, and the only way I could get ahold of him was on the shop phone (lived 3 or 4 hours from me). I finally just decided to go down there to pick it up hoping he was there. Shop was closed with no tresspassing sighs. I went to subway to get something to eat, and asked if they knew where this guy was. Luckily there were some gossip girls there, and they told me of a guy that works at an IH dealer that was trying to buy the shop. Tracked him down, and he gave me his last known phone #. Still have not gotten ahold of him. He better have not gotten rid of that engine. Anythingin it is either custom or a specialty part not off-the-shelf. Anyways that engine has about 25K in it.
