1/2" too long? What in the fuck!? In the US you need a rifle with a 16" barrel, and shotguns are 18" min. No law for being too long! I have an AR-15 that was sold as a 16". It is actually 16.5" not including the muzzle brake/ flash hider. I have a firearm that is a class III weapon. I have a letter from the ATF saying I can own it.
