Eight years of democrat policies did not help this country. Regarding the gov groups like FBI etc, quite a few of those who are running things in said groups have long become corrupt. I shared a post or two on here about gov surveillance a few months back. If more Americans were aware of what goes on behind the curtain, less would be willing to trust big brother.

You're right about that, nothing is for free. This site is funded by private donors, and I think any member on here could donate if they wanted to, which I might look into in the future. The donations must be considerable, because the founder of this site had mentioned about himself donating quite a bit to other secular organizations. Given the fact of how much trolling goes on this site and an overall hostile attitude towards conservatives like you and I, with that in mind can't say I'd be willing to pay a fee to use this site. Now, if I were a liberal progressive I would be more inclined to pay a fee to use this site. Not sure about anyone else in our two groups, but I have already received harassing messages from sock puppet accounts, and at least one fellow member that I'm aware of has been publicly harassed and prejudiced against and banned from certain groups for no valid reason.

Some states have laws that enforce stand your ground situations and under most circumstances would not punish someone for defending themselves or loved ones. Even in a state that does not respect stand your ground situations, if you truly are not the offender in the situation and genuinely only wanted to save another person, you would have a good defense for your case and could fight it in court. The truth and reality in general are largely considered unimportant in favor of political correctness. Some of us within this group have had our posts and comments censored, and one would think there would be less censorship within groups of like-minded individuals, but apparently that is not the case at least on this site anyway.

@GlyndonD I think we conservatives have far more in common with Libertarians politically speaking than the liberals do. Although I remain hopeful I still rather doubt those on the political left will ever embrace Libertarian beliefs, they are grounded in too much political correctness. Perhaps after the current presidency is over more people will get pissed off and vote for a third party candidate. I don't bother as much anymore with the public threads on here, I'm content with the groups. I keep my eyes peeled for any new members who might be conservative/independent to let them know they are not alone on here amongst the sea of radical socialists, and I would be sure to mention this group to any who may have an interest.

Through the years I have observed both Republicans and Democrats show an unwillingness to communicate with the other side, Republicans are not the only ones who do that. Things do not get accomplished in this country because both sides do whatever they want to do with no regard on how the other side thinks and feels. I have been on this site for a few months now and are appalled at some of the ill behavior from those who identify as liberal progressive. I do not relish the thought of ever having to block anyone, but after trying unsuccessfully multiple times to discuss political topics with some of those who lean left, I was forced to block those who decided to hurl unjustified insults my direction for simply offering another point of view. What she did was still a felony, aside from being a hypocrite. If I did that just for a stunt or to get attention, if I got caught I would go to prison. The point of this post was to illustrate how politicians are able to commit crimes and for the most part getting off easy, while the average American would get the book thrown at them for committing the same offense. If police misuse of power and authority concerns you, why wouldn't this? Politicians these days think they can get away with just about anything and not have to pay a price. How some people are able to simply dismiss something like that concerns me to no end. Thank you for your feedback though.
