@FrayedBear Yes, I live in town and less than 1 kilometre away there is Mobile Phone Repeater Tower but whenever we got out bush to get firewood youcan bank on there being No Signal available for a Mobile Phone that my friend, Alan, always has with him. And as for this crap about micro-wave radiation, etc, from mobile phones and towers WELL you get far more micro-radiation from you Micro-wave Oven in your kitchen than is emanating from a mobile phone or from a mobile phone tower. UHF, VHF and Micro-wave signal ONLY travel in straight lines from tower to tower and from tower to phone and back again unlike other radio signals in the lower frequency bands, such as AM radio, Shortwave Radio, that can be reflected off of the Ionosphere ( bounced) Micro-waves, etc, cannot be reflected off of the Ionosphere nor can they follow the curvature of the earth either. That is one of the first things one learns, besides Morse Code and electronics, etc, when one gains their Amateur Radio Operators Licence as I did way back in my late teens.

As to you anaolgy of a computer verus a human brain and body, well my example was merely in simple terms that the mind, brain, central nervous system and autonomic nervous system are somewhat AKIN to a computer BUT the difference ids that a computer requires an EXTERNAL power source to operate efficiently whereas the REALITY of the human body creates its own electrical energy, an energy which has been PROVEN time and time again to EXIST. Albeit that that electrical energy is a very very low voltage, amperage, etc, but it does exist none-the -less. As the brain grows, develops and learns it creates new neural pathways ( tracks similar to the circuits on a circuit board if you will) between neurons and axions, etc, alomg which these micro-electric pulses can travel thus increasing the memory capacity and abilities of the brain. But, unlike the computers we create our brains, well for most of us that is, do not have a limited memory capacity whereas computers have a limited memory capacity. Yet we too have both a R.O.M. system within our brains/minds as well as R.A.M. system just as does your computer, lap-top, iphone, ipad, etc, etc, our R.O.M system is what I'd loosely label as being the Autonomic/Central Nervous System of the brain/mind, our R.A.M. system is the major part of our mind/brain and it learns, write and re-writes its 'circuits' on a basis of possibly and probably every second or minute as we learn, realize or comprehend something new ech and every time/hour,day, etc, we are awake and aware. There two distinct sectors of the brain/mind in human, the Conscious brain/mind and the Sub-Conscious brain/mind. While the Conscious brain/mind is alert and active the Sub-Conscious brain is semi-dormant and vice versa. During sleep phases the Conscious switches off and the Sub-Conscious 'downloads, sorts through and corellates what the Conscious has learned, interpreted, observed, etc, etc, during its active period. Then we have the Autonomic Nervous system controlled mainly by an entirely different section of the brian/mind, this is somewhat akin to an operations programme of a Master Computer system, it runs independenttly 24/7 365 days a year for your entire life sending signals to your heart lungs, endocrine systems, etc, etc, telling them what do, how to do it and when to do it, etc, etc, that is UNLESS a 'glitch' such as an embolism, Brain Haemorrage, severe Head Injury or Cerebro-vascular accident, etc, occurrs in the region of Autonomic Nervous system/brain/mind then shit truly does often hit fan, so to speak. But since, as both you and JeffMesser seem to want to have us believe, we are Non-corporeal, Non-material ( i.e. being made up of matter) then such things cannot exist therefore Medicine, Medical Sciences, etc, etc, are guilty of suppositions in extremis are they not? All of that because, a) he and his Evangeloon friends, I use that term very loosely btw, held a candle light prayer meeting in front just over a week or so ago and they drove a metal spike through the copper pipe from the water meter to his house, b) Evangeloon annoyed the Plumber so much when he arrived the other day to fix the leak that the Plumber upped and left, c) stupid Evangeloon turned off the water supply at the isolation valve at the meter to stop the leak but left the electricity switched on to the hot water system.

Tomorrow is not promised, don't wait too long or you may never get the opportunity to tell that ...

@Lilac-Jade Nope, If him and his Evangeloon friends hadn't driven pointed metal spikes into the ground to put their candles on for their 'prayer' meeting in his front yard the pipe wouldn't have ended up with a hole in it in the first place, If numbnuts had just let the Plumber do the repair job and kept his mouth from flapping away like a demented sea-gull the leak would have been fixed AND IF numbnuts had NOT turned off the water at the mains AND switched off the power to hot water system it wouldn't have built up so much pressure and shredded itself. At a rough guess I'd say he's now looking down the barrel at a VERY big lot of bills in the near future, a) a Bill from the S.E.S. for attending after the hotwater system shredded itself and the bathroom, etc, possible in the range of about $1,500, b) a Bill from the Police and the Fire Brigade for attending, approx. 2- 3,00 dollars in total, c) bills from Builders, Electricians, Plumbers and the Building Surveyor, who knows how much they'll be, d) a bill for the removal and clean-up of eberything that was damaged/destroyed, probably around the $1,000 mark, and, e) since he admitted to the Police that HE turned off the water at the mains meter but did NOT switch off the electricity to the hot water system, the House Insurance will NOT cover any of it. ONE very big and massive bill a well. And, as an extra note, he is now running around the neighbourhood asking if he can use our showers and water, etc, etc, any time he wants. He's got 2 chances of any of that happening, Bugger all and NONE what-so-ever.

@Lilac-Jade Got woken up by a rather big bang about 7 this morning, I should have been a Nostradamus I think LOL. Evangeloons hot water system went off with a bang and heaps of steam this morning, shredded it self, blasted through 3 of the walls of his bathroom, tore a hole in the roof and sent bits of 'shrapnel' flying through his kitchen, no-one was hurt thankfully. So it now looks like he'll be needed a Plumber, an Electrician, a Building Surveyor to assess the damage, a Builder to do the repairs all because. so he stated, "I turned off the water supply valve myself to stop the leak, why is Jesus picking on me, one of his followers, when he should be punishing all you Atheist Heathens instead?" My response to his wailing was, " Well your God does move in mysterious ways doesn't he.?"

Unless you include the Op-shop' style 'charities' that some religions operate where they get the things they sell for absolutely NOTHING and then proceed to sell them at almost retail prices. @Lilac-Jade Me neither, he hasn't checked or tested, as per the regulations/rules the Pressure Release valve on his hot-water system for as long as he has been there, you are supposed to activate it at least once every 3 months both to check that it's operational and to check that the escape pipe is clear of any obstructions. Back in the 90's when I was a volunteer with our local State Emergency Services we were called out to a house where some idiot had replaced the Safety Valve with a simple bolt screwed into the valve socket, the hot-water system, 250 litre capacity, had continued operating until it had exploded from the internal pressure, it totally destroyed itself and torn out about 2/3's of the bathroom walls and the ceiling as well. Thankfully for me, Evangeloons hot-water system is over 4 metres away from the side of my house but if it explodes his bathroom is going to be history to say the least.

LOL, the funny things that I don't think the Plumber turned the Isolating tap back on at the water meter before he left either and Evangeloon has absolutely no idea about that or how to change a washer in a tap either. So if the water supply is no longer reaching his electric hot-water system and it is still operating then not only will he be getting one MASSIVE water bill, a Plumbers Bill but a burned out, possibly exploding hot-water system as well, shit, if all that happens his mummy will definitely not be very happy with him, will she.
