I plant only natives so the only struggle I have is to keep invasives to a minimum. Multi flora roses were planted years ago as thorn fencing for livestock. Wonderfully fragrant I permit one bush on the perimeter. To grow garden roses requires extreme attention best left to the public rose gardens maintained by the pros or those that have the verve. Unless one is in a cool moist area such as the UK or Newport Rhode Island, it becomes too much of a challenge. More challenges is what I don't need. Lovely pics.

Yep. Thought about this muchly, & fertility or an indication by a woman of availability is what I have concluded. A husband might prefer a short haired wife as it sends an "off the market" message. Many gay women I know keep it short so as to not attract unwanted, unsolicited advances (which I might add is what happens to me when I let it grow).

Retired at 53 & saw this coming as a dooms day prepper. Too busy prepping, so our group was canceled here on Agnostics. Trump won because folks believed the polls, his supporters are feverish & cult-like, & our African citizens did not come out. A lesson in democracy & republics are that one must show up. Use it or lose it. When Mr. Floyd was murdered by a vengeance seeking hot headed copper, I mentioned that nothing will change until Euro-Americans become involved. They did. They are! (Just as Catholic nuns did in the '60s.) There is hope & responsibility for them/us too SHOW UP. Change has come to America........if it isn't stolen again on November 3rd. It is so satisfying that we have survived to enjoy retirement in whatever manner we planned for. Congratulations to that end, enjoy & stay home. =0}

All lives are not being treated with distain & disregard for pleas of "I can't breathe". Folks of color are targeted. How do I know? History, smart phone documentation, & experience when I worked & partied among black & brown friends. One time in particular resulted in the police asking me "if my parents knew I was with these people." "Yes" I replied. "They are people". We were pulled over because there were 7 people in one car. Just driving around, enjoying the radio way back when. The difference I witnessed first hand impacted me forever. I have witnessed the disparity often when I was the only Euro. White folks did not "hang" with the colored folks. My diverse group of friends enriched me & ostracized me from the "white only" crowd until our high school won the basketball tournament., Then Euro Americans were open to having basketball friends.
